F22A Raptor Soars To Joint Base Pearl HarborHickam Hawaii

Lt.

Col. Christopher Faurot, an F-22A pilot, "said the six-hour flight required seven air refuelings with lots of 'straight and level flying' and reduced speed so the fighters would not outpace refueling tankers." Lt. Col. Harvey Newton, also a Raptor pilot, "likened the F-22 to driving a Lamborghini while other nations tool around in clunkers."
