On one hand, it's a nice round number, but on the other, it's not the nicest of round numbers. No matter; Windows Phone can now lay claim to a whopping 70,000 apps. While Google Play (formerly known as the Android Market) and the App Store both have many, many more than that, this is still a notable milestone for Microsoft.
