Interesting dilemma that TWC found itself in, it was offer streaming over wifi off their equipment in your own house, which they are covered in their house. I think that distributors are so caught up in the old way that they can't readjust for the period that we are in now. Being mobile isn't just something most of us do a little bit, its more like we are home a very little bit. And although streaming to an iPad is cool, if you are stuck in your house, it does no good for a mobile lifestyle. Working at DISH I purchased a sling adapter for my receiver last year, and I have been streaming all my live subscribed channels as well as my recorded shows to my i{hone over wifi, or 3G, true TV Everywhere. That is one of the biggest reasons that is more important now then ever to compare all your choices in your local area before choosing a provider, you could want to be mobile, but wind up chained to your house. http://www.besttvforme.com
