The Intels Lynnfield Processor Tested and Benchmarked

Intel has unveiled its Lynnfield processors.

The new i7-860 processor can overclock one of its cores from 2.8GHz up to 3.46GHz when working on a single threaded task, while at the same time "turning off" unused parts of the core so those parts don't use energy and create heat.
