Keep hacking free if you buy something shouldnt you be able to modify it

If you keep a safe in a bank robbers sitting room, eventually hes going to find a way to open it� � This was the idiom used by copyright reform advocate Lawrence Lessig in his 2007 TED talk to both describe the futility of the tech industrys anti-piracy efforts and simultaneously ask consumers an important question: What is it exactly that manufacturers like Apple, Sony and Microsoft are selling us?
