Apple Deserves to Be Slapped with Antitrust Suit
Reports state that the US Federal Trade Commission and the US Department of Justice will be starting antitrust proceedings against Apple for anti-competitive practices.
Hoping to slow down its competitors, Apple's recently filed a bevy of lawsuits against HTC, the largest manufacturer of Android phones.

EFF How To Thrive as a Musician Without Suing Your Fans
Mike Masnick writes that the mainstream entertainment industry's formula for contending with the Internet � desperately trying to invent "new copyright laws or new licensing schemes or new DRM or new lawsuits or new ways to shut down file sharing" � is counterproductive.
