Antitrust Inquiries Could Be Launched Against Apple Soon

The New York Post is reporting that the U.S.

Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission are, locked in negotiations over which of the watchdogs will begin an antitrust inquiry into Apples new policy of requiring software developers who devise applications for devices such as the iPhone and iPad to use only Apples programming tools.

Apple Deserves to Be Slapped with Antitrust Suit

Reports state that the US Federal Trade Commission and the US Department of Justice will be starting antitrust proceedings against Apple for anti-competitive practices.

Hoping to slow down its competitors, Apple's recently filed a bevy of lawsuits against HTC, the largest manufacturer of Android phones.
