Transaction Apples Mobile Payment System Unveiled

The patent may have been filed in 2008, but this is the first time that we have had a chance to see it.

More than a year ago, Apple filed for a patent concerning mobile payments using your iPhone and has dubbed it "Transaction."

This is why Apple denied Google Latitude from the App Store

Another Apple patent today looks remarkably similar to the functionality of Google Latitude which Apple relegated to WebApp status earlier this year.
